This sermon message was preached by Evangelist Ebenezer Udofia at Living Faith Apostolic Ministries. It has been adapted from the sermon portion of the video transcript into a detailed blog format for Bible study, Christian discipleship, local ministry outreach, and Google Ad Grants search visibility.
This sermon focused on one of the most important truths in the Christian life: the gospel is not only preached in words, but also confirmed by the power of God. The Apostle Paul said he did not come with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power. That same desire was echoed throughout the message: Lord, show forth Your glory.
The Christian faith is not meant to be reduced to lectures, religious formality, or spiritual appearance. The preacher made it clear that collars, titles, clothing, church positions, or outward symbols do not produce the fear of God in people’s hearts. What changes lives is the manifested power of God.
In the sermon, the call was for believers to move beyond routine religion and into living faith. There are moments when people face situations that seem humanly impossible: sickness, oppression, fear, family crisis, spiritual confusion, financial pressure, or emotional heaviness. In those moments, faith is tested. We may feel tossed back and forth. We may believe one moment and struggle the next. But the message was to stand firm, hold fast, and remember that faithful is He who promised.
Jesus often told people, “According to your faith, be it unto you.” The sermon reminded us that the power of the Lord is present to heal and deliver, but faith must respond. The Lord did not treat healing like a magic performance. Those who cried out, believed, and came to Him encountered His mercy.
Acts 1:8 declares, “Ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” This is central to Apostolic preaching. The Holy Ghost is not just a religious experience. The Holy Ghost is the seal of God upon the life of the believer. The Holy Ghost empowers Christians to witness, pray, believe, and minister in the name of Jesus Christ.
The sermon also encouraged believers to understand that God can use every surrendered person as a channel of blessing. The same hands lifted in worship can become hands of prayer. The same mouth that confesses Jesus can speak life. The same believer who once felt weak can become a vessel through whom God encourages, strengthens, and ministers to others.
This is a needed message for anyone searching for a Holy Ghost filled church, an Apostolic church in Raleigh, a Bible study on faith, or sermons about healing and deliverance. God is still able. His power is not locked in the past. His power is present wherever faith responds to His Word.
At Living Faith Apostolic Ministries, we believe Jesus Christ still saves, fills with the Holy Ghost, heals, delivers, and confirms His Word. We do not seek religious competition. We seek the glory of God. We want people to encounter the living Christ and know that the gospel is real.
If you are facing something that seems impossible, bring it to God in faith. If you need prayer, come. If you want to be filled with the Holy Ghost, come.
